CIS to achieve 50% growth in 2001 revenue

CIS Technology Inc.(2326 ‘Ya Se’) again revised down its 2000 profit forecast down yesterday. 2000 revenue was forecast at NT$4.685b, NT$382m net losses. This is due to higher operating costs caused by raw material shortages. By cutting production of V.90 cable modem to less than a third of 2001 total prod., CIS will concentrate on ADSL production and expects to see 50% growth in 2001 revenue.
