Vanguard & SST collaborate on flash

Vanguard (5347 ‘Shi Jie’) is slated to obtain 0.18um process flash orders from SST (US). The trial order is expected to start in 4Q01, with volume production to begin during 2002. In addition, the two companies will co-develop the 0.13um process for high-density flash production.
