VIA holds a positive view towards the PC market

Mr Chen Wen Chi, President of VIA (2388 ‘Wei Sheng’) expects that VIA has the strength to ride out market downturns and take advantage of increasing usage of internet services, and hence long-term PC demand. He also believes the key to success to be ability to deliver value-added products, citing VIA’s ‘Valueline Internet Architecture’ as a promising development. VIA has invested in China through partnerships in different areas, and Mr Chen feels that Taiwan and China may work together toward better development. We are confident that VIA is up with the play in China.
