Scorecard of semiconductor revenue for Jan. 2001

• TSMC (2330 'Tai Ji Dian') posted NT$16.1b, down 11% MoM.

• UMC (2330 'Lian Dian') revenue fell NT$9.5b down 7.5% MoM.

• Powerchip (5346 'Li Jin') saw a 12% MoM revenue decline, bringing in NT$1.7b. Vangaurd (5347 'Shi Jie') revenue was NT$2.0b, down 22% MoM.

• Mosel (2342 'Mao Xi') expects NT$1.3b revenue, an 11% fall MoM.

• Winbond (2344 'Hua Bang Dian') expects NT$2.4b revenue, down 23% MoM, reflecting a drop-off in non-DRAM revenue / orders, as well as a 30% DRAM contract price fall since Dec. 2000.
