Just desserts...?
The local press reports that chairman of the beleaguered Pineapple Group
was joined by unexpected guests while dining at the Sherwood Hotel on Friday.
Huang Tsung-hung, currently involved in a NT$2.5b real estate deal in
the Chiayi area, leapt to his feet screaming for help after a shadowy figure approached
and deposited two poisonous snakes onto his lap.
While the snakes were beaten to death by the Sherwood's intrepid staff,
Huang managed to wriggle his way out of the situation without injury, sitting down again
to finish his pineapple cake.
Police suspect disgruntled creditors are behind the attack.
