February revenue growth lags shipment growth
Unipac (5441 'Lian You') reported February revenue of NT$1.05b, up 9.8%
MoM, but below TFT-LCD panel shipment MoM growth of 25%, coming on the back of TFT-LCD
panel price decline. Large-size panels accounted for around 60% of total sales and small
and medium size panels the remainder.
Chi Mei (unlisted) and Acer Display Tech (ADT, 2409 'Da Ji') estimate
February revenue at around NT$1.3b and NT$1.1b, respectively, for 40% and 15% MoM growth.
Respective shipment growth figures were 67% and 25%, although they increased higher ASP
17inch panel shipment.
