A Leading Supplier for CEM

• Development: Yageo (2327 ‘Guo Ju’) declared that it become the biggest component supplier for the CEM group, based on CEM's purchasing records in April.

• Analysis: Yageo has succeeded in 10 top global accounts, and expects penetration to grow from 5% to 20% of sales in 2001.

• Primasia View: We believe that obsolete inventory of downstream firms will be either dumped or written off in order make room for new product in 3Q01, which will spark demand for Yageo components.
