TSMC to see flat June revenue

• Development: TSMC’s June revenue is likely to remain flat from May, in a range of NT$8.5-9bn as indicated by industry sources. June wafer shipments are expected to be flat from May.

• Analysis: The company indicated the past 3 months’ Book-to-bill ratios were consistently above 1, pointing to a gradual improvement in revenue outlook.

• Primasia View: We believe price adjustments on volume shipments to major customers is a likely reason for flat revenue, despite TSMC’s improving technology mix.
