Realtek posts sales decline
Development: Realtek announced June revenues to come in at NT$481m
yesterday, which is 25% down on May revenues, but in line with our expectation.
Analysis: The sharp revenue decline is reflective of the high base in
May along with inventory management by principle customers. Also, traditional slow
seasonal demand is noted. A gradual pick up is expected in coming months.
Primasia View: As company had reached 46% of our full year target for
both revenues and pretax profits, we are confident in our current year estimated
financials.
