Delta poised for sales upturn

• Development: Delta’s consolidated July revenue is reported at NT$3.28bn, slightly down 1.2% MoM.

• Analysis: The firm’s component business contributed higher revenue in July as monitor and optical drive divisions were scaled down, helping stabilize gross margin at around 19%.

• Primasia View: We expect revenue to bottom out in late 3Q01 as new orders are anticipated in power supply and networking products.
