D-Link revenue better than expected

• Development: D-Link reported August revenue of NT$1.06bn, up 24% MoM and 20% YoY. Accumulated revenue to August clocked up 32% YoY growth.

• Analysis: August revenue breakdown: Office LAN 62%, Wireless LAN 13% and Digital Home 11%. The Asia market accounted for 40% of revenues, with China and Japan leading contributors. Demand in China for network construction remains strong, while Japanese networking plays are placing more ODM orders to further cut costs.

• Primasia View: We expect D-Link’s revenue to see bottom for 2H01 in July. Maintain Outperform.
