Record monthly revenue, more gains in store

• Management announced company will post record high revenue of NT$8.1bn in Oct. Firm delivered 1.7m units of MB, 70k units of NB and over 500k units of graphic cards. In addition, Asustek has successfully diversified its products, especially in NB, retaining over 30% QoQ growth rate, with shipment volume competitive with Acer (2306.TT). Besides P4 and Windows XP heating up the graphic card clone market (DIY), two international graphic card makers, 3Dfx and Creative, have shutdown, freeing up 25% of global market share. We believe Asustek will be a primary beneficiary, as well as other top-tier graphic card players in Taiwan looking to expand market share.
