Result - Earnings

• Mediatek reported outstanding 3Q earnings of NT$1.89bn, up 32.5% QoQ, for EPS of NT$5.98. We expect firm will maintain gross profit margin at around 53% with similar shipment volume in 4Q. Continued growth momentum follows market share expansion that is the key growth driver for the company rather than the overall demand situation. Mediatek designs ICs for optical storage media products like DVD players and CD-ROM.
