Company Visit - Riding broadband trend into 2002

• Management is still very confident about the broadband business in 2002, especially the US market. Aside from ADSL modems, Ambit emphasized its strengths in cable modems, which may become a growth driver next year. Moreover, company is seeking certification from clients for new high margin products like DSLAM (Central Office Equipment) and telecom power supply. Ambit is also optimistic on its wireless LAN (WLAN) products, despite fierce competition in this segment. We believe our 3 ~ 6 mth target price of NT$161 is achievable.
